RepoMind (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the repo-mind.ai website and the RepoMind service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect:

  • Account information: email address and GitHub OAuth token (read-only scope).
  • Repository data: source code content retrieved via GitHub API for the purpose of indexing and retrieval.
  • Usage data: queries submitted, features used, and basic analytics (page views, session duration).
  • Waitlist data: email, role, repo size, and optional qualifiers submitted through our early-access form.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the RepoMind service.
  • To generate grounded, citation-backed answers to your questions via retrieval-augmented generation.
  • To communicate with you about your account, the waitlist, and product updates.
  • To monitor and improve service reliability and security.

4. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not train or fine-tune machine-learning models on your code.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
  • We do not write to your GitHub repositories.

5. Data Isolation & Security

All indexed data is scoped to your user ID, repository ID, and branch. Queries are filtered at retrieval time to ensure you only access your own data. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

When you disconnect a repository or delete your account, all associated embeddings and metadata are permanently deleted. Conversation logs are retained for up to 300 days for debugging purposes and then purged.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services (including cloud infrastructure providers and analytics tools) that may process data on our behalf. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@repo-mind.ai.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
