Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RepoMind service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RepoMind provides a private, repo-aware AI assistant that indexes your GitHub repositories and answers questions about your codebase using retrieval-augmented generation. The Service is currently in beta and may change without notice.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and GitHub OAuth tokens. You agree not to share your account with others or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Your Code & Data

You retain all ownership rights to your code. By connecting a repository, you grant RepoMind a limited, non-exclusive licence to read and index your code solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not use your code to train machine-learning models.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Use the Service to develop a competing product.
• Attempt to access data belonging to other users.
• Submit malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. RepoMind does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any responses generated by the Service. AI-generated answers should always be verified against your source code.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RepoMind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, all associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
